Video Game Reel
A variety of tracks intended to loop or layer with accompanying gameplay or other visual media. Each loop or layer will be played 1-2 times to give a sense of how the loops would overlap when implemented into middleware or other integration software.
All tracks were created in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program Professional Certificate and are for demo use only.

Bristlecone Elegy 5:30
Ouzel Scherzo 3:30
This two-movement trio is inspired by two scenic locations in the Colorado Rockies. The first, Bristlecone Elegy, is inspired by Grouse Mountain Overlook in Mueller State Park. The overlook, while boasting amazing views of the Pikes Peak area, is home to the rare bristlecone pine tree for which this movement is named. The second movement, Ouzel Scherzo, is named for the Ouzel Falls hiking trail in Rocky Mountain National Park, a hike which boasts three spectacular waterfalls. The falls and rivers are frequented by ouzels, also called dippers, a type of bird that forages for its food in running water.

This piece is based on the Irish fairytale of the Children of Lir. The three movements of the piece correlate with the three locations that the children of the fairytale spend their lives after they are cursed to live as swans for nine hundred years. More information can be found in the program notes in the perusal score.
The first movement can be performed on its own.
